The American Prosperity Alliance (“APA”) is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. APA’s primary purpose is to advocate for legislative and regulatory policies that advance economic prosperity in America. That includes advocating for reforms that grow the economy, lower our national debt, fix a broken healthcare system, improve education, prepare the workforce, lessen burdensome regulations, create and sustain American job growth, and promote free market enterprise and economic prosperity for America’s businesses and citizens.
Established in 2022, APA was the leading issue advocacy organization opposed to passage of the Inflation Reduction Act. APA conducted over $11M in television, radio and digital issue advocacy advertising, along with texting and public opinion research. Senator Cortez Masto (D-NV) even called out a “group called American Prosperity Alliance” in her remarks on the Floor of the U.S. Senate, noting “hundreds of Nevadans began calling my office” in response to APA’s issue advocacy activity. APA also conducted issue advocacy in support of the American Energy Independence from Russia Act, sponsored by Reps. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05) and Bruce Westerman (AR-04).
